Are you an approved builder in local developments?
Yes. Wannemacher Design Build is a member of the Home Builders Association of Fort Wayne and is approved to build in nearly every community across Allen County and surrounding areas in Northeast Indiana.
Can you build on private land, lakefront, or metes and bounds property?
Absolutely. We specialize in building on privately owned land, including lakefront and metes and bounds parcels. We always walk the property first to understand its natural features, views, and layout — so your home can be designed to complement the land, not just sit on it.
What kind of warranty do you offer?
Every home we build comes with a One-Year Written Warranty. Within the first 12 months after closing, we’ll repair or adjust common issues like sticking doors, dripping faucets, or minor electrical and plumbing defects. We also offer a drywall and paint touch-up service at the one-year mark. Andrew personally oversees warranty service to ensure your home continues to meet our standards.
Can I hire you just for architectural design?
Yes. We offer standalone architectural design services for clients who want to develop custom plans. If you later choose us to build your home, the cost of the preliminary design is credited back during construction.
I already have plans. Can you build from them?
Yes, we can build from plans created by another architect or designer — as long as they are not copyrighted by another builder. We’ll review your plans and provide a detailed estimate and construction timeline.
How do you stay connected during the build?
We use Buildertrend, a powerful project management platform that keeps homeowners, contractors, and our team aligned throughout the entire build. It allows for real-time updates, messaging, scheduling, and document sharing — so you’re always in the loop.
